At the beginning of October last year, the construction company “Graditelj NS” and PE “Palić-Ludaš” signed a contract on the construction of a pedestrian and bicycle path. The plan is to construct the path as part of an investment measure within the “Ecolacus” project to form a buffer zone around Lake Palić, and it is currently being implemented.

The contract was originally signed for EUR 331,000. The plan was to construct about 2km of the path. It would include approximately one urban section on the western and three on the eastern shore of Lake Palić.

The execution of work on the eastern shore of Lake Palić is currently ongoing. At the same time, part of the path on the west side of the shore of Lake Palić, which was foreseen by the original contract for the length of about 950m, has been completed.

Conditions to finance the construction of an extension of the pedestrian-bicycle path on the western side of the shoreline of Lake Palić for EUR 77,443 were met during February this year. The path will be longer by an additional 475m. The deadline for the completion of work is 15.06.2021.
